Clothesline Drying

Many of you out there may think drying your clothes on a clothesline is a bit inconvenient but given the fact that line drying is FREE, I would say give it a shot. According to this article from ( eHow ) you can save anywhere from $0.44 to $1.32 per load. Now depending on how much laundry you actually do will depend on how much you save per month.

For instance, let's say you did 10 loads of laundry per week at an average of $0.50 per load. If you dried all 10 loads on a clothesline you would save $5 per week. That would be a savings of $20-$25 per month savings depending on the month, since some are months 5 weeks!

Now let's multiply that weekly savings to 52 weeks per year. That is a $260 savings per year! And that's if you're on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to electricity prices:) If you did the same math but used a $1 per load, that is an annual savings of $520 Per year!! $520 is nothing to scoff at;)

Other benefits are getting your lazy butt out of the house to breathe the fresh air;)
