I don't know if any you guys remember these, but I sure do. As a matter of fact my cousin has one of these! Which is what spurred on this blog:) According to the U.S. Department of Energy using a draft snake can improve your heating and cooling efficiency by 5%, all the way up to 30%!! That is a huge savings, considering that most of your monthly bill consists of cooling or heating your home!
During the Great Depression these draft snakes were utilized a lot! You can buy them and you can also make your own out of rolled up towels. The good thing about these is they are relatively cheap to buy:)
